About The Pole Room
The Pole Room started with a love for pole dancing, and quickly grew into a strong community that promotes self-love, physical activity and mental well-being.
Based in Melbourne, Australia, The Pole Room is a place where pole enthusiasts meet, grow and share their passions for dance and fitness in a body-positive environment. In essence, it's a place where people can go to feel safe and complete as they are.
As an extension to it's 4 pole dance studios, The Pole Room's online store emerged in late 2020 with a goal to give polers access to everything they need to live out their pole lifestyles.
What started as a humble collection of clothing, shoes and equipment, has quickly grown into an extensive online store, stocking a wide range of well-known brands in heels, grips, knee pads, home poles and pole dance wear. From brands like Pleaser, Lupit Pole, ITAC2, Monkey Hands Grip to our own TPR clothing and accessories range, the collections continue to grow with the most sought-after products and ranges for pole and dance.
As we advocate for body positivity and acceptance of all genders, shapes, sizes and abilities (no matter whether you dance on the pole , aerial apparatus or simply appreciate the art), we are proud to continue to grow the sport across the world. The Pole Room doesn't promote one type of beauty over another, rather "we embrace the fact that every body is a pole body," says founder and director Jasmine Zapka.
With warehouses in Australia, USA and Europe, it's our mission to celebrate pole dancers everywhere. We do this through our service and product knowledge, which is constantly evolving. Our goal is to support pole dancers to bring out their own flair and sass - because if it's one thing we know, pole is about self-expression, embracing your body, and bringing out your inner goddess!
