How to Choose the Right Lupit Pole For You
Since work outs from home became a "thing", Lupit Poles have become more and more popular for pole dancers. If you're looking to buy your first pole, there are some things you should know before making that purchase.
So how do you choose the right Lupit Pole? The answer depends on several factors: What type of moves you're trying to perform; how much space is available in your home or studio; the height and make of your roof, and last but not least, your grip preference. At the end of the day, it's a great investment for your health, body and mind, and when you're choosing a trusted brand like Lupit Pole, it will be sure to last you your entire pole journey.
The great thing is that there's a Lupit Pole out there for every pole dancer! In this article, we go through the key factors that will point you in the right direction.
Your Ceiling Structure
Your ceiling structure is the key factor that determines what kind of Lupit Pole you should get. The Pole Room stock two different types - Floor-to-Ceiling Poles and Stage Poles.
If your ceiling is supported by concrete, plaster board, or beams thicker than 20cms, your best bet are Floor-to-Ceiling poles as they're as close as you can get to an in-studio experience. These are also a fraction of the price of Stage Poles (in case you're shopping on a budget).
On the other hand, if you're living in an apartment, a rental property, or a home that has tiled/floating ceilings, then your best bet is a Stage Pole. Stage Poles are portable poles that come with a thick base and don't require any drilling, meaning you can can still practice your favourite moves without having to put any holes in your roof. Your Ceiling Height
Going back to the Floor-to-Ceiling and Stage Pole options, your ceiling height can also influence your purchase. The higher your ceiling, the more freedom you have over tricks, moves and routines. Stage Poles can be extended, but not shortened, and require ceilings at a minimum 2500mm. So if your roof is on the shorter end of 2500mm, your bet is Floor-to-Ceiling pole.
What's great is that both Lupit Pole's Stage Poles and Floor-to-Ceiling poles come in spinning and static options. No need to compromise on your pole repertoire here!
Your Grip Preference
Now let's talk about grip options - do you want something with extra stick or something smoother? There's chrome, stainless steel and powder-coated available, with powder-coated being voted the "grippiest". Stainless steel and chrome are the go-tos for a slightly smoother feel, and they're also great for sensitive skin.
